Get the most out of events & exhibiting

Events 10 top tips

This month at Spinning Clock we are busying-about for this year’s exhibition season and we thought that it’d be nice to share some of our unrivalled expertise that may help you plan and prepare for yours. Enjoy!

1. There’s no second chance at making your first impression.

Exhibition Halls are competitive places so you’ll need to make sure you stand out from the crowd. We love a creative challenge, whether that’s incorporating the latest cutting edge technology or an unusual stand construction we’d love to help you make a memorable, successful stand. Email us to ask about how we can make you stand out from the crowd.

 2. Be at the right place at the right time.

Your priority should be making new contacts, presenting your product and being on the stand stress-free and confident that everything looks great and is working brilliantly! Allow us to project manage your event from start to finish, giving you a stress-free, fully considered outcome that ensures a winning campaign!

3. It’s about quality not quantity.

Consider how you are going to get good ROI and targeted results.  How will you capture relevant data and make those leads count? Why not consider using interactive media like our customisable Apps for touch screen displays and tablets?

 4. Make it a memorable experience.

Why not add an experiential dimension to your stand that will leave a lasting impression with all who visit. We’ve done everything from Augmented Reality, large-scale touch screen tables, Scalectrix tracks, Video wall interactive questionnaires and interactive bike race games to name a few. Why not pick our brains to see what we could do for you!

5. Make sure your events team are speaking the same language.

Make sure your events team, from project management to the creative team, understand your product and aims for exhibiting. Having worked for over 10 years within the events industry our top-notch team have the experience to understand the most complex brief. We know how to make your ideas a success and our team of designers can interpret and visualise your concept through to realisation.

6. Create a winning combination.

Make sure your events team skills are maximised in the right areas – such as making new contacts and networking. Not trying to sort out Wi-Fi or a broken printer. From project management through to creative services and our experienced installation team we will ensure that everything “works” and is in place and ready for you (and your visitors) to have an enjoyable exhibition.

7. Save the Trees!

Look around most exhibition halls or corporate events and you will see a lot of paper: promotional brochures, product literature, flyers, sales information. Why not consider making your stand more paperless through the use of digital touch screens and USB sticks that can contain promotional information as well as being a great promotional gift.

8. Add movement to your stand with video.

An additional dimension for you to talk to your customers and present your products or services in-situ. A picture says a thousand words so imagine what your video would say to your customers and your competitors. Present your company professionally – Why not talk to us about your next corporate video.

9. Make friends and influence people.

Build relationships, network with industry peers and proactively position your company at your event or exhibition so that you are your customers’ most likely “go-to” choice of company next time they need your product or service. We can provide advice and consultation on how to ensure you make the most of these opportunities.

10. Leave [the right!] lasting impression.

Consider what you will say to your customers and prospects when you meet them. What is important about what they know of you and your company? Why not consider using quality promotional merchandise as an aide memoire and a polite reminder about your time together.

Whenever your next event is, it’s almost never too late to get in touch for us to help. Tell us how you would like us to work with you to make your next event a success. See you soon.
