Lead Web Developer

Due to expansion within our web technology business a vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and talented Lead Web Developer.

Leading a team of developers will use your expertise in web development to play a pivotal role in continuing to grow the company and providing cutting edge web solutions to our clients. You will work on a range of web based projects, including development of existing web based products and design of bespoke web applications for our clients.

The person we're looking for will:

Have extensive experience of designing and developing enterprise level web applications
Have at least 2 years commercial experience in a similar role
Be a perfectionist, always striving to ensure quality standards are met
Understand business requirements and communicate effectively to director level
Be an enthusiastic, team leader capable of getting the best out of our development team

The following are also desirable:

Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Analysis
Knowledge of n-tier architecture design and modelling techniques
Experience developing web applications in PHP5 and MySQL5
Knowledge of database analysis techniques

Junior Web Developer

Due to expansion within our web technology business a vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and talented Junior Web Developer.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's existing websites and online management tools, and you will also contribute to new projects which will deliver significant value for our clients.

The person we are looking for will:

Have a good understanding of web technologies and languages, including HTML and CSS
Have one year's relevant commercial experience or equivalent
Be a perfectionist, always striving to ensure quality standards are met
Understand business requirements and communicate effectively to director level
Have a diligent and methodic approach to website testing
Work well within a team of developers

The following are also desirable:

Experience in developing or maintaining websites written in PHP
Experience in communicating directly with clients
