The Spinning Clock Creative Dream Team had the opportunity to attend the Adobe Creative Day World tour at Kings Place, London. The tour is currently visiting 14 cities all across Europe to educate, inspire and reveal some seriously powerful new tools in the new series of Abobe Cloud Applications. For one day only, 400 people with exclusive invitations could take part in seminaries and new Adobe product presentations given by some of Adobe’s most senior staff.
Some of the most popular names from industry came along to exhibit and present new features to us. Amongst them was Trio of Adobe evangelists: Rufus Deuchler, Paul Trani and Jason Levine whose presentation style was both energetic and enthusiastic to say the least. His self-made Adobe Cloud tribute song was a pretty memorable moment!! (Think ‘Rock School’s’ Jack Black crossed with John Travolta in ‘Saturday Night Fever’)
We were introduced to new Adobe Creative CC Suite, presenting new more interactive workflow between different programs and some amazing new features. Between training panels we met Adobe Luminaries like long term filmmaker Richard Jobson author of ‘16 Years of Alcohol” and “New Town Killers”. Tech enthusiast David McClelland was hosting the events and Richard Curtis, Iona Walters, Rupert Knowles and Niels Stevens were led workshops. We saw collaboration of different artists, and their incorporation of Adobe products in everyday day design. All and all it was really inspiring, creative day out. All enhanced by the excellent free meals and refreshments provided by Adobe. It’s good to see they put our subscription fees to good use!
