Spinning Clock won the to pitch to Unilever to create a multilingual website as part of a 360° launch of a new fabric conditioner in the Comfort range. The site needed to provide marketing teams in Germany, Belgium, France, Holland, Greece and the UK with a website they could manage themselves.
The challenge was to incorporate Flash animation capable of pulling in multiple languages, generating brand specific images on the fly. The brief was to create ‘sensory experience’ communicating the essence of the product – its new ‘locked in smell’ technology.
Incorporating live streaming TV adverts and online competitions, the website is driven by a sophisticated Content Management System. This was rolled out to 9 international brand teams with training an support to ensure the delivery of a unified brand message.
Initially piloted in Europe, the site has been rolled out worldwide to promote a range of Snuggle and Comfort products.
