The NHS Choices website has become the biggest and most visited health information website in Europe, with more than 100m visits in the past 12 months alone.
To the many millions of UK residents that use the website, it has become an essential part of their day to day healthcare routine, however over 9 million people in the UK still don’t have access to the internet.
For this reason the NHS Digital Inclusion Team approached Spinning Clock with a brief to create range of educational videos to help deliver training sessions which would reach these groups and provide them with access to valuable online health information.
Working in partnership with Capita Learning & Development we created a series of ‘train the trainer’ video tutorials as well as a series of motivational video case studies. These training videos give practical guides on how to deliver training within their own working environment, be that a library, pharmacy or GP practice. For accessibility purposes, we also created a series of tutorials with enhanced subtitles using talking characters and dynamic text speech.
These training videos have been used to educate staff across the 3,500 centres in the UK, who are now NHS Choices digital health champions, helping to support people in making better health choices. We are proud to say our training videos are live on the NHS Choices website at www.nhs.uk
The training videos produced by Spinning Clock are always to an extremely high standard and their attention to detail means that we don’t have to worry, we just know that our key messages will be clear and understood by the audience. Love working with you guys!
